Book Review 6 : Conversations with God 1 by Neale Donald Walsch

I have started reading 'Conversations with God' by Neale Donald Walsch. The top cover said, "An extraordinary book; I couldn't put it down." However for me it has been a slow read. I read a bit and then feel the need to mull over it, process everything, make sense of what's written before I move on. So far I am on page 24 and as of now am finding it difficult to understand the ideas shared in the last two pages.
What has made sense so far is that every soul knows all there is to know all the time. However just knowing is not enough. The soul seeks experience." and if this is true, then life becomes a process of creation as we create experiences along the way. It is our experience that communicates. Our experiences are stored as pictures and images in our mind and are projected through our thoughts. Feeling is the language of the soul. Words are mere symbols. We often ignore the most powerful vehicle of communication i-e our experience. This happens because we rely on others to tell us the meaning of various concepts and ideas. We forget to rely on our experience. We need to rely on our thoughts and feelings about an experience and use our words to give birth to our reality....it is complicated...it makes sense to me...I would like if people read and make sense for themselves and I will be happy if our take away would be different. As we all are unique...
Right now I am intrigued by this abstract yet profound question, "What is my experience of myself?" and I am asking myself this question, "Have I truly experienced myself? for unless I do, my concept of myself is just an idea. Just as unless I experience kindness - kindness will be mere concept, unless I experience being generous - generosity will be a mere idea.
